The Lord, He is God". Leave Tel Aviv and drive along the
Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honour of Augustus
Caesar. Here Peter baptised the Roman centurion Cornelius and the apostle Paul
set sail from the ancient port on his journey to Rome. Among Ihe magnficent
array of archaeological finds at the site are restored Crusader forifications, a
Byzantine street, a Roman theatre and well preserved redducts. Continue to
Megiddo, one of the chariot cities of King Solomon. The New Testament identies
Megiddo with Armeggedon (Rev.16:l6), where the last battle of world will be
fought. Onto Mt. Carmel and Muhraka, which according to tradition was the site
of the prophet Ehjah's triumph. Travel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Bay
